I just got my Ecosol Powerstick that I won from a contest JoeTech.com held. Handy little device that will definitely have a permanent home within my geek bag. It charges via USB from your computer, and has multiple adapters to charge a variety of hand held devices such as PDAs, cells, iPod, etc. However, it does not include an adapter to charge my PSP via the AC port. I can Still use the USB to charge it with the Powerstick but the PSP has to be on to do it, so if I drain it totally down I still need to charge it via AC. The size of the device is nice, portable, and small. However using it in conjunction with other USB devices on my notebook can be tricky if they aren't on a cable. Using it on the USB port directly next to my power cable is not likely to happen while my notebook is plugged in. But on a desktop I wouldn't see it's size being an issue.
It is still going to help me out a lot down the road in those situations I don't have my chargers available or can't use them. Plus I will probably keep the different adapters in my bag as people around me are always running in to low battery issues. I would definitely consider calling this an essential in my bag.
Thanks again JoeTech.com!!!
